Chris has been involved with pipebands for over 30 years. His range of experience covers Grade 4 performance bands to Grade 1 competitive bands. From rank and file piper to Pipe Major Chris has been there. He was the soundman for the 1997 Grade II Champions of Champions and most recently acted as Pipe Major of the prestigious London Piping Society. Chris has appeared in numerous television shows and commercials and has played and performed with top musicians including Mark Oldfield and Rod Stewart.

Chris has a highly sought after expert knowledge of bagpipe music and maintenance. He is a certified judge for the Joint Committee for Judging (Scotland) and has judged in both Europe and North America. Chris is regularly invited to write, lecture and teach about bagpipe tuning and maintenance.
