NEW Apps G4 Chanter Reed
|
Our ridge cut reed has been developed to cater primarily for pipe bands.
The G4 pitches slightly higher than the G3 reed and is available in medium and hard strengths. Compared to the G3 this reed is more forgiving with pitches versus pressure making band setup easier.
Manufactured with the same state of the art equipment as the G3 with a folded brass staple. This reed produces a very crisp bright tone throughout the scale and a clear strong high A without a heavy crow. It works well in all the common brands of band chanter.
